HAFF Transitions Clinic to Beloved Local Haitian Family, Led by Long-Serving Nurse Madame Telius

Monseur and Madame Telius

July 1, 2024—HAFF is thrilled to announce a significant and heartwarming transition in our ministry. Effective July 1, 2024, HAFF will no longer operate the clinic. But this isn’t the end—it’s an exciting new beginning!

We are overjoyed to share that the clinic has transitioned to a local Haitian family, and will now be run by none other than Madame Telius and her family. For decades, Madame Telius has been the heart and soul of our clinic, serving tirelessly as a nurse, mentor, and trusted advisor. Her dedication and deep connection to the community have made her a beacon of hope and compassion. It’s no surprise that people have often sought her out, even at her home, for guidance and care.

This transition embodies the very vision we hold dear at HAFF: empowering Haitians to take the reins and say, “Thank you for your support, but we’re ready to lead now.” The Telius family’s commitment to God and their neighbors is a testament to the strength and resilience of the Haitian spirit.

We invite everyone to join us in prayer for the Telius family as they embark on this new journey. With their deep love for God and the community, we are confident that the clinic will continue to thrive and serve as a vital resource for all who need it.

This is a moment of celebration—a powerful example of what can happen when communities are empowered to take ownership of their futures. We thank God for the Telius family and their unwavering devotion to the well-being of others.
